A Fun Night

My sister and her friend started the night by taking me to a bar at the top of Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, to get a good look of Taipei. The view was great! If you plan to do the same, one humble suggestion from us: Pay it a visit during the day first, to get a good grasp where everything is.

We took the fancy elevator down, walked out the hotel, passed its showy fountain, took the unusual escalator with a plateau in the middle to the basement, walked through the luxurious Japanese supermarket, and finally to Shanghai Shanghai restaurant. A route full of interesting designs and fun distractions, I must say.

On the other hand, I still like Taiwanese food more. Shanghai food is not bad, but my taste buds just prefer simple, tasty Taiwanese food. Surprise, surprise…
