Tilden Park — Big Springs/Seaview/Quarry Trail

In Tilden Park, we usually hike on Selby Trail, Gorge/Curran/Meadows Canyon Trail, and occsionally Inspiration Trail. David, however, is tired of those and is on a mission to find new trails.

Today he picked Big Springs/Quarry Trail for us, because it looked relatively easy on the topo map. They were like Meadows Canyon Trail, pretty dry and not much shade, which was perfect for our little lizard friends. We must have seen a dozen of them on the way!

But of course David had to improvise our route by adding Seaview Trail, the steepest part of our hike and the only section providing the panoramic view of the Bay and trails.
