Hats Off To J-Rich!

I was shocked to hear that the Golden State Warriors traded my favorite player, Jason Richardson, to the Charlotte Bobcats. J-Rich had spent all his 6-year career with the Warriors, he was the driving force behind our last season’s playoff effort, and he was the most loyal Warrior. Whenever I thought of the Warriors, the image came to my mind was J-Rich, and I bet that I wasn’t the only one. When other players just simply passed through the Warriors and became stars somewhere else, only J-Rich had stayed through the tough time, kept quiet, and played hard. And it was no wonder that the Warriors fans have a lot of respect for him and are sad to see him go.

I’m very sad to see J-Rich go, but at the same time I think that the (forced) career move will be good for him. He’ll be under Michael Jordan’s arms and learn from the best basketball player of all time. It’ll be great for him to see the outside world (if being given a choice, he would never leave the Warriors). And, best of all, it’ll be far easier for him to get into the Playoffs and finally become an All-Star that he’s been way qualified for years.
