Harry Potter Has Arrived

About 5 minutes ago, our friendly mail lady delivered my copy of Harry Potter and cheerfully announced, “It has arrived!”

Last time I was pacing between our house and the front gate, waiting impatiently for my copy to arrive. I was so mad about the delivery that I almost went to our local bookstore to get my Potter urge out of my system. Finally, an unfamiliar mailman showed up at 5:30pm, with beads of sweat and a tired but friendly smile on his face. He handed me my copy tenderly and said, “Enjoy!” Well, I was shamed of myself for being so pesky… Delivering the long-awaited Harry Potter is no easy task, and I completely forgot about how much hard work had to be put in to have the book in my hands.

Well, this time it’s a completely different story — I actually forgot about my copy would arrive today! Yeah, I did know that the midnight parties were held everywhere in the world, but somehow the fuse popped and I failed to make the connection that I would get my book today. So it was a pleasant surprise when our mail lady showed up.

My own old prediction is that Potter will die at the end, because that’s the only thing to stop having Harry Potter 8. Well, I guess I’ll find out once I finish reading the book!
