Leaving for Cincinnati, OH (前往辛辛那提)
December 22, 2007
| During a delicious dinner in Paris at Le Dome Montparnasse, Nora and Tom discussed with David about their idea of having us over for Christmas. David nodded and said that he would check with me and see about flights. | ![]() |

So this morning when the whole world was still sound asleep, we rushed to the San Francisco Airport (SFO) to catch our early flight to Cincinnati, OH. I was especially looking for a White Christmas, even though I’m not particularly fond of snow.We were lucky that the SFO long-term parking still had a few precious spots by the time we got there, and we found out that we could even use our FasTrak to pay for parking! Pretty civilized, huh? It’s still a tad behind Taipei Metro, but better than nothing. |
After a 5-hour-flight and 3 hour time difference, we finally arrived safely at the Cincinnati Airport located in Kentucky. (Go figure!) Tom graciously picked us up at the airport and gave us a guided tour on the way home. What struck me most was how green Cincinnati was! Why was Cincinnati so much warmer than San Francisco? Where did all the snow go? And was I going to have a White Christmas?
We showed up just in time to help Nora decorate her beautiful Christmas tree in her luminous sun room. Although this is not a religious household, they still enjoy Christmas festivities. See how happy everyone was in front of Nora’s beautiful tree? I could definitely smell Christmas in the air! ![]()
