2008 7 Day Chan Retreat — Day 2
February 11, 2008
My jet lag made it easy for me to get up at 5:00am (5:00am for the first morning; 4:30am for the rest). While most kids were doing their dream walk, I was wild awake. The morning went by rather fast, and I was thinking, “Hey, this is a piece of cake compared to last year!”
Unfortunately, in the afternoon, my legs started experiencing serious pain during those 20-minute sessions… This was bizarre, because usually I could meditate easily for 45 minutes at least without enduring any physical discomfort, and now we barely started!
My third nightmare happened at lunch time: One of my tooth fillings fell… I was unable to chew from that side of mouth and became sensitive to hot and cold liquid. *sigh*
