Albert The Alligator (小鱷魚愛勃特)

Today Dorit told us about their new pet, Albert the Alligator:

Our lawn guy told us we had a baby alligator in our pond, but we did not believe him. This afternoon, we finally spotted him. He is definitely a baby, kinda cute, about 2 – 3 feet long. I wonder how he got to our pond?

Mark already named him – Albert. He is scared of us, but likes the turtles. Here are a couple of pictures of Albert, the second one is with Fred the Turtle nibbling on Albert’s feet.

I hope mamma is far away!

Dorit & Mark have the most exotic pets I know: First was the 6-foot-long Peter the Brown Water Snake, and now a baby alligator Albert! I just hope that Fred the Turtle don’t get too comfy with Albert, because the table can turn around for the worse very soon!

Dorit 告訴我們他們的小寵物 — 小鱷魚愛勃特:

“我們的園丁之前告訴我們說，我們的池塘裡有隻小鱷魚，可是我們並不把他的話當真。今天下午，我們終於看到牠的蘆山真面目了。牠是小沒錯，也有點可愛，大約 2 – 3 寸長。我真不知道牠是怎麼到我們的池塘來的？

Mark 已經幫牠取名為 Albert (愛勃特)。牠怕我們，但是牠喜歡烏龜。這兒有兩張愛勃特的照片，第二張中烏龜 Fred 在輕咬愛勃特的小腳ㄚ子。

我希望愛勃特的媽媽在很遙遠，很遙遠的地方！“

我認識的人中，沒有人有養像 Dorit 和 Mark 這麼特異的寵物了！先是 6尺長的大水蛇彼得，現在又是這隻小鱷魚愛勃特！我只希望 Fred 不要和愛勃特玩得太近，不然在不久的將來，Fred 的小命就不妙了！
