Harbor Hotel (中港大飯店)

Harbor Hotel (中港大飯店) was the chosen hotel by Reborn (睿朋) during my stay in Taichung (台中). It was an old hotel and its age showed, but its employees were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. However, I was so used to California’s non-smoking law, so it did not occur to me to ask for a non-smoking room. Well, I learned my lesson the first night…

I told Reborn’s Ivy (怡潓) about it, she immediately called the hotel and asked them to change me to a non-smoking room. Actually there was no such thing in this hotel, but they did move me to a room with new carpet. Ahhhhh… I finally had a good night sleep for the following two nights (even though the family in the next room was so exciting that they sang well into the night)!
