Radish Harvest Time (櫻桃蘿蔔大豐收)
June 4, 2009

The pretty radish David had planted had a mustard kind of hotness to it. Since I was not a big fan of loud mustard (or fake Wasabi) and we thought that it would get hotter as it grew bigger, today I did an emergency harvest before out radish became too hot for my taste. Only when tasting them side by side during dinner time, I finally realized that our original assumption was wrong: The smaller ones actually were hotter! Oh well…
Look at them! Aren’t they adorable?
